JMP’s successful Historic Buildings Unit provides specialist heritage input for adaptive re-use projects across a wide range of sectors including infrastructure, mixed-use, education, arts and culture throughout the practice. Due to our expanding portfolio of exciting projects in this area, we are offering opportunities for candidates at senior level with relevant heritage experience to join our team.
The successful candidate will have experience in leading conservation, regeneration and/or adaptive re-use projects, with creativity, credible industry profile, in-depth understanding and passion for conservation, architectural history, regeneration and contemporary design. You will have a good knowledge of traditional construction methods and hold RIBA – AABC or equivalent accreditation. Experience in staff development, business development and client relations will be a bonus.

Due to our expanding portfolio of exciting international projects,we are offering candidates at senior architect level or above, ideally with project experience in the Middle East, to join our team. The successful candidate will be creative and proactive, and will have experience in leading and delivering significant residential and cultural projects. Experience in client relations will also be essential. You will be required to travel and/or relocate to the Middle East. Experience in staff development and business development will be a bonus.
Good drawing and presentation skills as well as experience with MicroStation are essential.
