Kevin Lloyd joined John McAslan + Partners in 1988 and then, after a spell as a director of RMJM’s London office, rejoined JMP as a team director on major projects in the mixed-use, residential, commercial and education sectors. His most significant current project is the proposed office and retail building on a highly complex site less than 100m north of St Paul’s Cathedral, London. The geometrical form of the building is highly innovative for its context. Lloyd has directed design development in other landmark schemes, and these include recent major mixed-use projects linked to railway station redevelopments in London, Birmingham, and Dalston Junction, and large scale redevelopments in St John’s Wood, Kensington, and Woolwich. His earlier work produced equally ambitious mixed-use, residential and masterplan schemes in Liverpool, St Petersburg, Swiss Cottage, Lincoln University and the Universities of Medway, and Canning Town Underground station..
