Roger Wu joined John McAslan + Partners in 1994, after working on large-scale masterplanning, commercial and mixed use developments for several other practices. At JMP, he has led the Mixed-Use buildings unit, and controlled outsourcing and internal systems management. Now, as Operations Director, he has overall responsibility for the quality and efficiency of the practice’s architectural performance. Wu’s experience and expertise lies in large scale projects with complex operational requirements, and he has lead or been involved in some of JMP’s most complex schemes, notably the Yapi Kredi Operations Centre in Istanbul, the modernisation of Peter Jones department store, London, the Max Mara headquarters in Italy, the King’s Cross redevelopment, London, and proposals for a major fashion group’s headquarters. He has worked on a number of overseas schemes. Wu has taught at the universities of Bath and Nottingham, and at the University of Plymouth.
