The buildings in the Dorset Square scheme are in the Marylebone Conservation Area, and the 1960s element typified the problematic legacy of commercial architecture of that period.
The building’s elevations were remodelled, re-clad and carefully detailed to refer specifically to the proportions of the Georgian elevations of the building adjoining it, and to acknowledge the architecture of other notable historic buildings in Dorset Square.
