JMP designed the northern anchor station at Dalston Junction Interchange as part of the multi-billion pound East London Line Project, opened in May 2010 by the London Mayor, Boris Johnson, which links Hackney to the north with Croydon to the south.
The masterplan includes Transport for London's major new interchange, a residential and mixed-use over-station development and a new public square for the London Borough of Hackney, due for completion in 2012.
The four-platform London Overground interchange sits at the heart of the comprehensive, regenerative masterplan, which JMP successfully delivered a detailed planning consent for in 2006.
The 33,000sqm, 309 unit residential and mixed-use over-station scheme is arranged around the proposed rail and bus stations. John McAslan + Partners is developing the scheme with Barratt, the principal development partner of the over site development.
