Senior Landscape Architect – London

John McAslan + Partners, an international design-led studio with a wide and interesting portfolio of projects in areas such as public realm, education, culture and transportation are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join the Landscape Studio in our London office.

We have a track record in developing award-winning projects across multiple sectors, and this is a particularly exciting time for candidates to be exposed to high profile international and UK-based projects that are at a range of stages in the design and delivery cycle.

We are interested in meeting candidates with most of the following:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the industry and CMLI Status (or equivalent experience/knowledge)
  • Preferably excellent skills in at least one 3D modelling software package (SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Rhino)
  • Experience in Vectorworks is an advantage, but not essential
  • Excellent skills in the use of Adobe InDesign
  • Excellent graphic skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Previous exposure to contract, fees negotiations and project management
  • Excellent technical and organisational skills with a passion for high quality landscape design and delivery
  • Clear thinking with a fastidious attention to detail and projects in general
  • Good communication skills; verbal, written and presentation
  • Ability to collaborate, articulate ideas and communicate effectively both across the team and to the client
  • Comfortable and competent dealing directly with clients and project teams
  • Self-motivated with a passion for design and client satisfaction
  • An interest and experience in working on projects in the UK and internationally in a variety of sectors
