An Update for our Clients & Collaborators on the Practice’s COVID-19 position
In response to the situation surrounding COVID-19, John McAslan + Partners has undergone a full update to all our working practices and workplace.
We continue to be fully operational, adopting a remote working solution. The safety and well-being of our staff, our clients and collaborators is of the utmost importance.
As of 24 March 2020, the majority of our staff began to work remotely, with only a small proportion choosing to use their local studio (London, Edinburgh, Sydney) in which to operate.
The changes we have implemented to mitigate the spread of the virus are as follows: a formal 2-weekly bubble rotation, a level of social distancing, better air circulation and higher levels of sanitisation. Furthermore we have created additional meeting rooms and enhanced technologies to enable seamless client and collaborator service which will better enable us to continue to provide the service that our clients expect of us during this period.
All of our technical staff have full remote working capability and access to JMP’s systems. We have encouraged the use of collaboration at meetings via conference calls or software applications, to protect both our staff and our stakeholders. Where required we will look to continue to maintain site visits, however, we do require the site to be set up to adhere to Government guidelines following the strict 2m rule, use of own PPE, and access to regular hand-washing facilities. If working practices and conditions are deemed non-compliant, we have instructed our staff to advise clients and the contractor that they will be leaving the site immediately.
The Board Directors continue to monitor developments on a daily basis and abide by advice from the government and the World Health Organisation in order to ensure we are maintaining a safe environment.
We will keep you updated on our approach to the situation and how we are maintaining business continuity and service levels throughout.
These are unprecedented times, but providing innovative and creative solutions is what we do best. We remain dedicated to working alongside you to navigate the challenges ahead.
If you have any queries regarding your projects, please do get in touch with any member of the JMP team you are working alongside.
