The Baitul Futuh Mosque has been shortlisted in the Community and Faith Project category (£20 million and over) in the Architects’ Journal Awards.

Located in in Morden, South London, the Baitul Futuh Mosque is Britain’s largest mosque complex, with capacity for 10,000 worshippers. John McAslan + Partners designed a new standalone community and administrative building after the original building suffered extensive damage in a fire in 2015. The public facing facility creates a new landmark and provides multi-function halls, community spaces, offices and administrative functions.
