We are proud to announce that Belfast Grand Central Station has been shortlisted for the Architectural Design Excellence Award at the 2025 British Construction & Infrastructure Awards (BCIA).

Celebrating innovation, impact, and inspiration across the industry, the BCIA received nearly 250 entries across 24 categories from more than 100 organisations this year. With such a high calibre of submissions, making the shortlist is a significant achievement and a testament to the exceptional design and vision behind Belfast Grand Central Station.

As one of the largest integrated transport hubs on the island of Ireland, the station plays a vital role in connecting communities and supporting sustainable travel. Its design reflects both architectural ambition and a deep commitment to civic value – qualities recognised by the BCIA judges in what they described as one of their most competitive years to date.

We extend our congratulations to all the finalists and look forward to the awards ceremony, where the very best in British construction and infrastructure will be celebrated.
