We are proud to share that two of our major infrastructure projects have been shortlisted for the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Asia Pacific Awards 2025, an international recognition of architectural excellence across the region.

The Sydney Metro Central Station Upgrade, in collaboration with Woods Bagot, has been shortlisted in three categories:

  • Adaptive Reuse
  • RIBA Member
  • Sustainability and Resilience

This project represents a significant transformation of one of Australia’s most iconic transport hubs – balancing heritage sensitivity with contemporary design, enhancing passenger experience, and supporting the long-term sustainability of the network.

Additionally, the Waterloo Metro Station has been shortlisted in the Urban Regeneration category.
This new station is a vital part of Sydney’s expanding public transport network and is already acting as a catalyst for wider renewal in the inner city, integrating design, community outcomes, and place-making.

Being recognised by RIBA underscores the ambition, collaborative spirit, and design leadership that JMP brings to complex, city-shaping infrastructure. We’re honoured to be included among this year’s shortlist and thank all our partners and clients who continue to support our work.

The winners of the RIBA Asia Pacific Awards 2025 will be announced early next year.
