Joining John McAslan + Partners in 2015, Colin brings 20 years' experience in delivery of complex infrastructure and mixed-use projects in the UK and overseas. Working across all project stages from feasibility to commissioning and handover, Colin has a proven track record in interdisciplinary co-ordination, design quality and delivery to accelerated programmes. Particular experience as Lead Architect includes The Belfast Transport Hub to Stage Four, HS1 (St Pancras, Thameslink Programme), Farringdon West Ticket Hall design for Crossrail as well as delivery for contractor and client-side organisations including Network Rail and London Underground.
Overseas experience includes lead design for Northern Concourse on Sydney Central Mainworks to DS2, Doha Metro Major Stations design, Sydney NorthWest Metro to tender, Challenge team design on Chicago Union, Doha Metro Education City stations, technical and design definition for Sydney NorthWest Metro to tender as well as urban and architectural design for major urban road tunnel structures and interstate highway upgrades in NSW.
Awarded distinction in Part III examinations and registered as an Architect since 2000, Colin's professional development has been based on a passion for infrastructure with the complex integration and design quality required to deliver world-class projects.
