Ryan Wazir is an Associate at John McAslan + Partners and provides strategic design leadership across major public, cultural, and community focused projects. He works in close partnership with clients and stakeholders both in Australia and internationally. His practice is driven by a commitment to inclusive, community centred architecture, with expertise in urban renewal, adaptive reuse, and heritage management.

Alongside practice, Ryan is an active researcher and contributor to the architectural profession. He is a Byera Hadley Travelling Scholar and a 2026 Fellow at the State Library of NSW.
